Has Anyone Who Ordered the Tow Hitch Received a Vin?

Same here, I received a text from Tesla on the 22nd which said:

Tesla Update: Model Y production has resumed at the Fremont factory and deliveries have begun.

Model Y deliveries are prioritized for customers who have submitted all items in their Tesla Account on a first come, first served basis. Please log in to tesla.com/teslaaccount to complete Registration, Trade-in and Payment Method.

We currently expect a mid-to-late June delivery for those customers who have submitted all items by May 31st.

To date, no VIN... :(

I never got that message, but had all those steps completed before the shutdown. I have to reapply for financing and have my trade-in re-evaluated, but the rep I spoke to today (Brandon), said I would be good since it had previously been accomplished. Added the tow hitch the day is was announced 10 April, but told him I'd be willing to make some changes if it meant getting one sooner. Fingers crossed because I really want this baby before my current tags expire at the end of July.

I received delivery prep right when they reopened, but nothing else I decided to remove the hitch.
Since you asked them to remove the hitch, has your account been updated reflecting the change? I asked to the delivery specialist to remove mine on Thursday, he said he did, but my build hasn't been updated in my account yet....
 
I emailed on Friday afternoon, Advisor requested change on Saturday afternoon and my account is still shows the tow hitch as of this morning. I know they said "request" and 24-48 hours, but I would have thought this would trigger an automated process to re-price my car and generate a new agreement.

I'm with you! I spoke with the advisor Thursday afternoon and he said he made the change while on was on the phone with him - still doesn't reflect the change on my account. As I recall when I had added the tow hitch over a month ago it reflected on line the same or the next day at the latest so maybe it's a system issue. Kind of bugs me a bit as I was called and asked if I wanted the tow hitch and I said hey, why not, I'll use it at some point, now I'm thinking it may have added to the delay getting my new ride.... :(
 
See here. No automated email stating configuration change like I received when I added the tow hitch and tow hitch is still showing today in my configuration. I will wait another day before reaching back out.

"I’ll put in a case to remove the tow hitch and you should see this reflected on your account within 24-48 hours."

Maybe we will get lucky and receive a VIN with the tow hitch while it is still in our configuration.
 
"After reviewing your account, it looks like our back office team may have a slight back log they're working through. The case was submitted on our end though to remove the Tow Hitch, please allow our team some time to get that adjusted on your account." via the Chat.
 
Order 5/2 and hoping they start doing a batch or two of the cars with hitches in the next two week. I haven't heard a thing and considered taking it off but know I'll be kicking myself if I learn aftermarket one's lose functionality or I take it off and they start shipping hitch equipped models the next day. I can wait as our driving has been limited but it sure is hard not knowing how long it could be.

Yeah, that's why I didn't have them "put in a case" - I figured maybe they were assigned a VIN with it already and then things would get crossed up and delay things even more... :( Trying to out-guess the system hasn't worked too well to date...
