Did it change your on-line order dates? When I added mine to an already 6 week old order, it changed my order date so I likely lost my place in line.
I got the order update email also but the order date on the Order Agreement now says 6/1/2020. Hopefully this is just a date when the order agreement is newly generated with the change and not when initial order is placed. Sent email to Delivery Manager asking if he knows.

"That is just the new order agreement and not a loss of place in line."
I know I am probably at the back of the line but I sure hope that Tesla does a large batch of Y's soon with Tow Hitches.
I've already started ordering accessories... my wife thinks I am crazy. lol

What size wheels? Did you opt for FSD? I got the Blue LR/AWD with 19" wheels, ordered last July.
You are the second confirmed buyer with a hitch. Congrats! Please keep us informed when you get the car, and take pics. Especially the tail end with the hitch!
I'm curious if the "hitch cars" come with the bumper door removed, and if so, do we get the door so we can hide the hitch if we want.

I ordered mid-Jan, 2020. Blue MY with black interior, 19" with FSD. I added the tow hitch via chat 2 days after it came out. And tonight I got the secret VIN in my source code- but no call yet.
and all this translates to delivery when?? who knows.
BUT its hope for all Tow hitch people out there!

...AND we ordered with the Trailer Hitch on 4/20/2020. I thought there'd be a longer wait. Must have gotten lucky with the production set.

This is process is so bizarre.
I got an email from a delivery support specialist a few hours ago that said: "...we are currently not producing vehicles with tow hitches. If you would like to take delivery sooner, I would advise removing this from your order and placing an order for the tow hitch after you have taken delivery."

Well that blows... Thanks for that tidbit.... He's been 1,000x more helpful then my actual advisor - Kody - who hasn't responded to any of my messages since early April.
