Have aggressive beggars or scammers targeted EV stations?

One time some girl asked for money for the train at the gas station, pretty sure she didn't use it for the train, there was no train station nearby, still gave her few bucks.

Come on!

I really dislike people asking me for money or trying to sell cookies. I mean, if I wanted cookies I wouldn't be at a gas station. Would I?

• Used to say; Sorry, I only carry plastic. That backfired! Who knew Girl Scouts have a credit card machine?
• I've also said; My wife is right behind me, she'll buy them. Come to find out the lady behind me was the scout master.
• Now I point at my earbuds and mouth; I'm on the phone. I've had limited success, even when I'm not wearing earbuds.

It's annoying that Walmart even allows people to ask you to buy things at the door. It's very much the same feeling one gets when someone asks for handouts at a gas station.

Unrelated to this thread's topic, but it got me thinking... Tesla should put large Japanese-style vending machines at the SuperChargers. At least at the ones without any other amenities. Then there'd be a reason for pan handlers to hang out around them. It's like moths to the light.
