The biggest problem is that the dealership model is so broken.
I know - I've just paid over $250 for an annual service on my Leaf because the dealer decided to use the most expensive maintenance track without telling me.
It is a cost center for them and one where they make more profit than selling the car in the first place.
I can get faster and cheaper service from JiffyLube, but the manufacturers are forced to use dealers instead.
