HELP, how to contact Elon?

So your assumption is that i should say thank you to Tesla for delivering an extreme faulty car, and just take the loss and smile? By the way it is a p85+.

I think, based on your posting history and the length of time you've been a member, people feel that you may be exaggerating the issues of your vehicle because you are upset about not being able to unload your vehicle for the P90DL you want. That is, you haven't mentioned any of these issues on the forum until now, despite being a member while you were having the mechanical issues.

All people know for sure is that you've modified your vehicle, and that's why Tesla is backing out. Everything else involving your car is unsubstantiated. I'm not saying you are exaggerating, but people can only offer advice on what they know.

No point in summing all the issues up. Tesla knows, and they are the only one that can help. 20 weeks speaks for themselves. Understanding the Tesla management in Denmark, they have no whatsoever mandate to do anything. I only hear that somebody higher up seems to be the showstopper. How high i dont know. It was my intention with this note to hear if somebody can help with names.
Thanks for your understanding to the ones being constructive.

No, I'm not saying that, I'm just pointing out my analysis of the situation. At this point, your best bet is to sell private party or find some other car trading company to see which one will give you the best price (don't just go with the one Tesla is contracted with). That is how all the others have done it in the USA when offered low trade-in values.

As I have pointed out before, if you didn't have the time pressure of the tax break you can try the corporate route to find someone higher in the corporate chain, but that will take longer and you might miss the break.

You should have never said anything about adding sound insulation. There is no requirement to do so.

Have you thought up just removing the sound insulation? That may meet their requirements.

I did, but it was too difficult to remove, and aluminium is also very soft. Anyway my argument has been that Tesla also modified the newer models, as sound insulation in the first modes was not good enough

PBP, sorry to hear about your bad experience with the car.

You can try one of the following:
1. Try [email protected]. This is the email to his team, supposed to be at the senior level. He no longer has his personal tesla email due to the volume of email he receives.

2. Try sending him a twit at Twitter.

3. Try to show up at one of his Tesla related event in US or Europe (store opening, interview, TSLA stock holder meeting etc) and ask him on the spot, maybe in a Q&A session.

4. If everything fail, your best bet is to call up the biggest Denmark tv station, specifically to the tv news department. And "bad-mouth" about Tesla poor quality and services. Once the TV station calls up Tesla for clarification, the power of tv and bad publicity will be enough to force Tesla to give you a reasonable response. At least here in America, this is one of the best way to get huge corporation to response to bad customer services or bad products.

5. Get a lawyer to sue them with lemon law

These are both great ways to build up a good relationship between you and Tesla.

I hope you caught the sarcasm there.

Threatening Tesla with legal action, or running to the press will likely get you some type of response, but you'd better be prepared to go through the entire process - AND, Tesla won't ever sell you a car again. It's been my experience that such alternatives may win you the battle, but will never win you the war.

@Flasher,

that's not my style. I like to settle things more quietly. I got good ideas using the forum, and thanks to some local assistance from a Tesla Specialist and Tesla Denmark, i am now the happy owner of a new P90D. The change is dramatic. It's like a completely different car. Astonishing although the cars look alike, so many changes have been made and they are really noticeable.

So no need to contact Elon any more. His new Danish service/sales team in Aarhus made a excellent help to solve my issues. I am now a very happy customer.

So happy for you that TM came through in the end. Was it primarily tenacity asking for this to get resolved with the help of Aarhus team, or was there some progress with US mothership? Also, this appears to have arrived really quickly, was this from the pre-tax-change cars?

again, great to hear TM did the right thing and you get to enjoy that p90d :)
