I received VIN 90,2XX for my blue AWD M3; picking up her 10/6/18 next Saturday.

@Los1sol Looks like ours were in the same batch! Red, AWD, 19” also. Our delivery date was rescheduled to 10/23, so don’t have ours yet. Since you have yours, just curious, what’s the build date? Also, any issues (paint, panel gaps, etc.)?

Just got mine in an email RED AWD Aero w/autopilot 104xxx . Delivery on 11/17. Surprised to see people with higher VIN's delivered 6 weeks before mine.

Why do you think that is? Was mine stuck on a lot somewhere for a while during the big push last month?

They don't use VINs in sequential order.

While seeing VINs well over 100k is neat, what blows my mind is how soon we'll regularly see > 200k VINs.

And then how quickly Model 3 VINs will be above S VINs.

I guess this is as good a place to introduce myself as any. I just took delivery of VIN 102XXX, the window paper says manufactured Oct 2018. Perhaps one of the last LR RWD Model 3s... (ordered 15 Oct)

Now that Tesla has built well over 100,000 Model 3’s, this thread has gone quiet.

Here’s an update. Last Sunday I was on I5 in California and over a period of a few hours saw multiple car transporters full of new Teslas and some with not new (not wrapped) Teslas, probably end-of-year fleet sales. At a rest stop I parked next to a Tesla transporter to do a driver change and looked at a new Model 3 on the bottom level of the transporter.

It’s VIN was 177672.
