Highland 18 vs 19 wheels

Up til now, the 19" wheel upgrade resulted in a really pounding ride over the 18". Now that the suspension in the Highland has been improved and there are new tires, do you think will the 19"will still be as punishing?

Having just driven the highland, I think you're OK to go with 19" wheels and not worry about the ride quality tradeoff. Just my two cents. The highland I drove had 18's, but the ride quality was night and day compared to my 2019 on 18's. even with comfort-tuned shocks.

The ride quality advantage of 18" should carry over into the highland, as a constant. The suspension improvements could diminish in effectiveness with time/wear, as with most cars.

19 inch wheels on ANY car will result in a more rough / stiffer ride than 18 inch wheels (on standard factory tires)

Doesn’t matter what suspension a car has, above will be true for all.
