Homelink won't connect/work...

Hello,

Bought a 2018 p100d today and saw it came with homelink...I have tried everything to get it to work. I hold the remote by the tesla emblem for 30 or more seconds and nothing...I then hit the program button on the actual opener and it says it received the signal on my screen but when I hit the homelink button once or twice it does not work...

any tips?

SOLVED...turned off my LED lights in my garage and voila! If anyone else experiences this try to eliminate any signal interference such as LED lights.

holy moly, I came here to get help on this issue and turning off my overhead garage led lights solved it for me. I used the 'standard mode' for a genie 7505. It was interesting that I still had to use the programming button the garage door after the headlights flashed that it had recorded my signal. I also had to press the home link button to test the door twice like the instructions said.
