How Long to Get Referral Loot?

On November 1 I responded to this email "Redeem your Model S for Kids or Signature Black Wall Connector". The email said I would receive redemption instructions.

So far, nothing.

I really wanted to surprise the grandkids with a Model S for Kids for Christmas, since they love my Model X. Is this kind of delay normal for referral loot?

Farmerdave- how long after your referral took delivery was it before you received the email? It's been almost a month and I hadn't even got the email yet. No response from referral team email address either.

Tesla hands off the mini-model-s delivery to RadioFlyer.com. Check your spam emails. From my first Email from RadioFlyer to delivery was just over 2 months. I think they batch up the deliveries, because the courier told me he had 4 such boxes to delivery in my area. YMMV

Over six weeks from referral delivery to receipt of the award email form Tesla. Imagine the wait if they used snail mail!

My mini tesla was just delivered the other day after ordering it several months ago...

My referral code was submitted to radioflyer early October and was told by their representative that next delivery which inlcudes myself will happen early December.

I received my redemption code in early August and sent it back right away and the mini Tesla S arrived in late October so nearly 3 months later.

I never got that email, but I got the email directly with the redemption code. It was another 4 weeks before the Model S for kids showed up.

It took me almost 2 months to get my Tesla for Kids referral code link after getting the initial email. My 2nd referral took delivery about 2 months ago, haven't heard anything. 3rd last week, still nothing.

Most likely. I have a code now and just checked, only the white and red would be available by Christmas, if you order now. The rest are out until Feb 2018. So by the time you get your code, it might not even be an option.

Maybe buy one and sell yours when it comes?

Good news! I just received the code today and ordered a red one, as Radio Flyer says that color will be delivered by December 22. It will indeed be a Merry Christmas for Laurel and Jordan.

I also received a separate explanation/apology email from Tesla today explaining that they are "currently transitioning our Referral Reward emails to a new system to support the recent update to our reward offerings."
