Twice, I tried for my 2020 Model Y and it’s said I was capped, I called them and they told me I used it in 2015 Chevy Volt and also 2019 Model 3, so only allowed twice.

It’s changed to once now, I got lucky and got my 2nd one before Dec 3rd 2019.

Rebate Limit
Individual and business applicants are not eligible to receive more than one CVRP rebate either via direct purchase and/or lease as of December 3, 2019. Applicants who have not already met their rebate limit prior to December 3, 2019, will be eligible for one additional rebate.

If you can put another person on the registration, you can have that person apply for an additional 2.

I used my 2 on a Smart Car, then the Model 3 in 2018. Sold the first model 3 it in march for another model 3. New car is in both mine and my wife's name. Rebate is under her name only. Everything processed fine and we got our rebate. I was told this process by a CVRP employee.
