How much % do you lose while unplugged?

Pacific Northwest San Juan islands, garaged, so very mild temps. Best I can tell, my 2021 LR consumes an average of 7W if left alone long term with sentry disabled. It seems much improved over earlier reports here.

I lose about 0.5% a day when parked at home in my garage. Southern California, no sentry, COP on (but never hot enough to trigger), and I check my app embarrassingly often.

If you have Sentry or Cabin Cooling turned on, that will use up lots of battery. Most of us learn to just use % to avoid mile shock. Sentry uses about .5% every 2 hours for those of us with long range batteries.

Check threads on battery drain (there are many). You should also be aware, as others have noted, that enabling some features increases battery drain considerably. These are anything that requires the computers to stop on (they normally go to sleep) when the car is parked, including Smart Summon Standby and Sentry Mode.

Without these extra loads, you would expect to see only a few miles per day.

A really, really, really long time if you turn off both sentry mode and interior climate when the interior exceeds 105 degrees.

When people ask about airport parking, I always suggest leaving the car at home and taking an Uber to the airport, which might even be cheaper than parking there.

Depends on a great many factors:

• Model (SR or LR)
• Initial charge
• Temperature
• Cabin Overheat Protection (off vs. on)
• Sentry Mode (off vs. on)
• Any apps you've tied to the car (can wake it up or prevent if from going to sleep)
• How many times you query your car's status while you are gone (again, waking it up)
• And probably a few more that I can't think of at the moment...

In short, if you keep Cabin Overheat and Sentry Mode off, don't check your car while you're away and leave it with about 50% capacity remaining, you'll probably get around 1 mile of range loss per day.
