How much would fixing this scratch cost?

A piece of metal debris on the freeway scratch my car underneath the back passenger side door. Any idea on how much it would cost to get this scratch fixed?

My paint is actually metallic silver. The cut is really deep so I would like to get it repainted.

OUCH! Yeah, I wouldn't touch it up with paint, not on a deep scratch. I'm thinking a GOOD body/paint shop could do it for $200-400.

Looks slightly dented too.

Depending on how particular you are, it may be be worth just touching up he paint and letting it be.

It's not dented, just a deep scratch.

Although a buffer will not make it disappear, if you know what you are doing with a buffer a three different compounds you can make it pretty much invisible with 45 minutes of work. Medium compound, fine and then mirror glaze. You literally would not see it unless you were on your hands and knees.

Why ask here ? I would hit up a few paint shops and get quotes.
