The latest indication is that the Ford Mustang Mach E will also not meet its range target under EPA testing:

It is too early to tell for the new Volkswagen ID.4, but reading between the lines of some European real-world testing, there are similar signs. I do not think that other manufacturers have yet figured out how to squeeze the extra miles out of the battery that Tesla has.
This is not actually good news though for electric vehicle adoption, at least in North America where driving distances tend to be longer. If the first generation of (supposed) long-range non-Tesla electric vehicles prove to be a real world disappointment for buyers who assumed that they would get Tesla level performance in a different package, then it could set back the transition to electric motoring.
