How soon does Tesla make contact after VIN assigned ?

Got my call today - delivery can be as early as tomorrow . Will probably get it the end of the week. Overall, still about 4 weeks from order confirmation.

I bet I saw your car last Friday. They said the truck came in Thursday, so this could be a rough sign that it only takes a couple days to make sure the cars are ready.

Congrats!! Someone just posted a pic of 7 of them at the Tampa service center on reddit, I wonder if one is yours... What config did you get? I'm waiting for Vin assignment on a Midsilv aero config in Tampa

Thx. Our vehicle is still in production, so it's not at the service center in the batch that was just delivered. Looks like we should be taking possession of the vehicle by the end of the month.

We did Red w/everything aside from FSD.

When did you configure? Yours in the same config as mine, wondering if there's a locational issue going on, as the Texans are notably missing a VIN.

* invited to configure - 1/24/18
* configured - 1/25/18
* VIN assigned 2/7/18
* first call from SC - 2/7/18
* delivery scheduled today for 2/12/18

UNBELIEVABLE!! Laurie did you pick her up?

We picked her up on Monday at the Costa Mesa DC. We were the only owners there to pickup at that time and it was a really easy going and comfortable delivery experience. Never felt rushed and the delivery experience specialist was super nice and knowledgeable. So far everything is perfect. Itching to take her on her first road trip
