This might seem like an odd question, but...

By looking at the car or its display itself, can you tell if a Tesla S has the premium sound package or not?

For example, is there different speaker placement or a feature on the display that's different?

    Thanks

If you have XM as an option to subscribe to in Media Player is one place. Also, I think the Dolby on/off switch is only on premium. Premium has a subwoofer in the trunk (right side).

At least in the early cars(2012-2013), under the front windshield, beyond the dash is all speaker grille metal. Standard has the speakers placed individually.

That would be the easiest way to tell, I think. Standard has an open space on the right side of the trunk. Premium has that cubby filled by the subwoofer.
