I just took delivery of a new S75 and when I received it, it had 2017.32 loaded. I didn't order EAP, but In the Safety settings, there was a setting for Lane Assist and I turned it on. It is supposed to vibrate the steering when you veer off lane and appears to use the same sensors and lane markings as Auto Steer. It does do that, but the software does a really poor job of tracking the car in the lane, despite excellent lane markings.
A 2017.36 software load was offered yesterday and I took it hoping to see some improvement in the Lane Assist, but unfortunately it appears to be no better than before. In the end, I found it annoying so I wanted to turn it off, but in 2017.36 there is no Lane Assist option in the Safety settings anymore!
Any idea how to turn it off?
