Like many others, my inner tail lights on the hatch were both leaking. They would both fill with water during a heavy rain and more recently, they would leak though the hatch itself and get the trunk carpet wet. I had already ordered new gaskets for the tail lights but they both had residue inside the housing from water leaking in them so many times. The last straw was from a recent rain storm that had also managed to dump a massive amount of pollen inside one of the housings and there was no real way to flush it out without taking everything apart. I'm not going to go into the details of how to remove and install the light housings, there are plenty of guides and videos on that. This will just be on taking the actual housings apart for cleaning and repair.
