Insurance renewal with mods

It's that time it year again where I need to renew my insurance but it looks a bit tricky this year.

My MS has been de-chromed, tinted windows and black wheels.

Does anyone know which insure will be happy to accept the de-chromed aspect?

I presume by de-chromed you mean that you've had the chrome trim painted black - if so surely that is not something that would count as a 'modification' . . . where does it stop, do I have to decalre the nodding dof on the dashboard or the dice dangling from the rear view mirror and maybe the air freshner?

Actually the de-chroming involved vinyl wrapping the door handles and the rest of chrome trim. This seems to be a no go for must insurers.

Just disclose all information. Better to have the chat now with a sales advisor, than with a loss adjuster.

Yes I was wondering if anyone knows which insurers are cool with the vinyl on the door handles etc.

Someone out there must have their car insured properly?
