You can view the feed when parked and I believe you can live stream it on the app when parked if you have premium connectivity. But no way to record it.
Also it would be of minimal use in that case because it doesn’t capture sound and doesn’t capture beyond the B pillar (ie doesn’t see what’s outside the driver or passenger windows).
Best bet for that situation would be an aftermarket dashcam with interior view or a mounted smartphone recording selfie video.

It would be nice but today all of the ways to view the interior camera in this thread are disabled when there is at least one person sitting in any of the seats.
It is your right to film the entire encounter with your cellphone (if you wish). Cabin camera's angle and quality is not up to that task.
Ah. Duh. They could easily use the mic for phone/voice control and embed it in the video.
