I picked up my license-plate mounted IPass transponder this morning from a tollway oasis. When I turned in my old transponder and told the lady what I needed, she asked, "What kind of car is this for?" I responded, "A Tesla Model S". She said, "Oh yeah, we get a lot of those". Lucky for me, I live in Indiana where we don't need front license plates. For those of you who live in Indiana, or for those Illinois residents that elect not to install their front license plate, you'll be happy to know that the transponder has, so far, worked 100% of the time. It's held in place with double-side tape, and the nose cone fits over it nice and snug!
