Well looks like I may have solved one problem and created another. Here is the history...
1) Illinois iPass wasn't reading well. I tried a bunch of different spots in the car
2) I used the magnet project to install the front plate holder. Love it btw!
3) Went to iPass office and got the plate mount iPass and tried putting it behind the plastic nose cone. Only read 50% of the time.So to deal with this problem I zip tied it to the lower center grill. That worked great.
4) Now I am getting "Reduced Front Radar Visibility" errors on even the best Freeways. Something is wrong.
5) Btw, washed my car this morning. Same problem. Some of the threads said that would fix it.
Where exactly is the radar for a March 2016 - Model S - build? Could the magnets on the nose cone be interfering with the system? Could the iPass be blocking it?
Any intel would be appreciated. Still love my Tesla!
