i saw this, this morning. what a joke. makes an entire article based on a forum thread?? wtf!

Darn it. Clicked on http://www.valuewalk.com/2015/09/tesla-car-easy-or-difficult-to-steak-it/, thinking it would add something to this conversation. Turned out to be a summary of this thread.

Seems like a newsworthy conversation to me. And the sources were c̶l̶e̶a̶r̶l̶y̶ cited. Kudos to the author and good publicity for the forum, which is an excellent EV resource.

In other thread-related news, our initial insurance quote was rather high, which our rep explained as resulting from the high purchase price. Her words were like, "welcome to the big leagues of luxury-car ownership", but the final numbers weren't far off of our Prius rates. I wondered if there are enough stats now, after a billion miles, for reasonable rates.
