Is this Carbon Fiber Interior?

I have recently purchased a 2015 85D CPO. As I wait for final inspection and delivery, I was finally sent pictures of the car, although very low resolution. The communication has been lax and hard to get any straight answers. One of the features the car is supposed to have is Carbon Fibre Interior, looking at the pictures I can not tell if its carbon fiber or pano black. I don't see the shine of the pano black but I see zero details of the carbon fiber as well (could be the low res pictures)

Since the car can't be shipped to my state (crappy Indiana), I have to drive to Chicago, 4 hrs away to pick it up. I want to ensure everything is as promised so I don't have to do the whole back and forth with the service center as many others have done with their CPO horror stories.

Since I have not seen carbon fiber in person, can someone take a look at the picture to confirm that it is or isn't? I asked my sales specialist over a week ago and still no answer.

Piano black is super glossy, carbon fiber is an eggshell matte. I'm inclined to say that's the carbon fiber, but like you said, the resolution makes it hard to say. I'd get your DS to send you another photo of the dash specifically.

It doesn't look like CF interior to me, I think you should be able to see the CF pattern even if low res from that distance

I agree. I believe it is carbon fiber just due to the matte look from that photo.

I'm 99% sure that it's the carbon fiber trim. There is not another trim that has that color and sheen.

I agree that it looks more like CF than the glossy, piano black. The details of the CF are easy to see but also subtle enough to be lost in a fuzzy photo like that one. You're dealing with real carbon fiber, here, not black plastic that is mocked up to look like it (and with overly, artificial detail).

Considering I'm buying a car advertising to have that feature, yes for that particular car. It's not the trim per say but if they say the car has XYZ feature, then doesn't, why would I buy that car? I would look elsewhere.
