I read that the IDF has now surrounded the hospital which houses Hamas headquarters and command center. The article I’m posting from X provides a video from a Palestinian doctor stating that the hospital is now empty. There are english subtitles that correspond to her statements. Here is the summary that precedes the video, “Dr.Sarah Alsaqa from Al shifa hospital, confirming that IDF has evacuated the hospital and that it is now empty. Israel has done everything possible to keep civilian deaths to a minimum and the Dr confirms this.”

The source for the first article is: Al Mayadeen (Hezbollah-Allied Lebanese Media). I would like to see a different source before I would have confidence in the assertion.

The UK isn't ever going to play any significant role in Israeli affairs again. The US is really the only power that can influence Israel these days.

The only way a country can exert influence on Israel is through support. Europe's attitude on Israel and the Jews has been clear for literally millennia. It's a pleasant surprise when Europeans aren't actively trying to kill us.

Looks like some of the hostages were held in the basement of this children's hospital in Gaza. Probably more hospitable than where many of the hostages are being held, but still quite cowardly.
