On a lark I turned traction control off and jumped on the Tesla on the on ramp and almost went sideways into the bridge embankment I was passing.

That's why you should leave the traction control ON!

I just purchased a F Type last week. I also own a P85 MS. Love them both. It doesn't bother me in the least that the MS is as fast or faster than the Jag. Both cars are great and am lucky to be able to own either. The jag is a beautiful rag top that is very visceral and the MS is a stealthy smooth beast. The MS kept up quite well with the 2012 Porsche Carrera S I owned. Electric cars are going to change what defines a sports car, this won't be the last of this kind of thread.
