"jump to new"

I seem to have far more threads (compared to some weeks back) where once opened they are at the top, rather than at first NEW message.

I have to notice ... i.e. avoid just start reading from the top. Pressing JUMP TO NEW works, but it feels to me that there has been a change and that that was the default, more often, before

Also seem to be quite a lot of "You are replying to a very old message" responses, so might be others having same problem and not spotting.

Maybe there has been a change to forum software, or CONFIG

Is it just me?

For the frequent threads I'm reading it still works fine (say anything within the last week). Possibly for some of the less frequent ones it just reverts to the OP - possibly the time to remember your position has been reduced?

It’s a change to the forum software, but not new. Other forms running the same software changed about a year ago. I own two licenses myself.
