There needs to be a low-cost, not totally indestructible, consumer version of the Denver Boot. I'd pay $20-$30 for one for cases like this.

That's the comment about the full 150kW. It used to be they always reserved a minimum 30kW for the 2nd vehicle, but now a lone car can get 150kW, which will drop to 120kW if a 2nd car plugs in.

I was not very good at backing up my model 3 at first either. Have you ever parked poorly in an empty lot and said screw it. But then come back out of where ever and it isn't empty anymore so you look like a jerk? Maybe that's what's happening here.

If there are enough cases like this maybe Tesla will offer free automatic backup at superchargers? The minimum from smart summon / parking to fix this

You could have backed up right next to him at 1B... I'm sure the cable would have reached. Sure, he may not have been able to open his driver's side door, but I would consider that lesson learned.

With Covid 19 and less cars on the freeway, superchargers are always empty and I have never had to worry about one being free. At least when I'm doing trips from SoCal to Las Vegas.

They should put a sign at superchargers that lets people know that you get a faster charge if you don't share a station (A & B).

When I did my NH <--> FL road trip last fall, my observation was that everyone knows to space out. However I can't conclude that it's knowledge of how the A/B sharing works, versus just instinctual urinal spacing mentality.
