Just ordered my P3D. Is there a break in period like ICE?

I'm sure people can pick apart small things that could benefit from a break-in period, but honestly and practically speaking, it's not necessary anymore. The greatest harm back in the day was when picton rings needed to scrape against the piston wall to seal correctly for so many miles before they truly set and then the full piston pressure could be held back. Clearly not the case anymore. Even today on ICE cars you sould wait until full engine warm-up when coolant, oil, and all parts are at the correct temperature so the expansion of say aluminum pistons and the iron block would be at the right level. I remember turning on my modified ICE car on a cold day and could hear the pistons "slap" around until everything was up to temp 10 minutes later. Agony waiting until then. Now with my Tesla I bang on it when it's dead cold. Love that
