They'll do the ICBC plates right at the delivery center. I'd recommend calling up BCAA ahead of time to get your optional insurance, as it was much cheaper (over $1500). I called BCAA ahead of time to set everything up so that way it's quicker to get it done on delivery day. You just need to forward the email for optional insurance to your ICBC agent and the delivery specialist.

How were you able to set up optional with BCAA, without the license plate number? I thought you needed to provide them with your registration number, VIN and license plate before you can sign up. Thanks for your help.

Just got notice of delivery in my account. This Saturday at 2PM.

Finally! I could not wait till Wednesday pick up and took M3 for the overnight test drive this Monday. Returning it Tuesday morning. Had a great ride, tested FSD a bit on a highway, drove through some scenic locations at sunset, tested the charging station in the apartment complex garage (just 7-8kW, but still good for charging at night).

It's almost new, ~230 miles and with USB-C + Wireless charging pad.

I've prepared 1TB Samsung T5 SSD drive with two FAT32 partitions, one with lossless flac music to test the audio system another for the dashcam. Worked fine, I was able to record some footage, tested the Sentry Mode and listened to my favorite music in the best possible quality (make sure to check the audio settings, someone has tuned EQ way off, so I had to adjust it).

I had them create a quote for the insurance and the coverage that I wanted ahead of time. When I picked up the car and was doing the ICBC paperwork, I called BCAA to go ahead and start the coverage based on the quote.

Same here. Just got a text saying it will arrive in Calgary in a few days. Pick-up time sometime on Saturday.

I'm debating between getting it delivered OR going to Calgary to pick it up.
Calgary Tesla said my car would arrive at their center this week. I have paid in full as per their instruction so they can secure a carrier to ship the car to Winnipeg. do you know if there is any tracking system ?

True that. But I'm getting my car fully wrapped as I'm afraid of paint chips. That is the reason why I'm hesitant of taking a 300+ km drive before the car is wrapped.
I thought of doing PPF, but since our cars are literally fresh from the factory, I read some posts about Tesla SA's advising to let the paint cure for a few weeks first.

I think it's more of a precaution, as no one will really know whether that paint's going to peel until you try taking off the PPF many years from now.
