When you see a model year that means you've got a VIN. And accepting the Vision agreement is also the first sign of VIN assignment.I had to accept a new agreement this morning, and when logging into my account, I noticed it saying 2022 Model Y.
Is anyone else seeing this? Is this a guarantee, then?
Interesting; I don't see a VIN, and I did the "DOM dive/ inspector" to find one... nothing thereWhen you see a model year that means you've got a VIN. And accepting the Vision agreement is also the first sign of VIN assignment.
Same boat, 10th - 24th.. I see the year but no VIN etc. I'm also Ontario, Canada if that makes any differenceMy delivery shows in the next 2-4 weeks, but no Year or VIN.
I looked for the 5Yj, and the Encoded VIN and didn't find anything.. hmm...it should be in the source code, your vin. I got the 2022 when I was assigned the vin in source code, it's not displayed in main page yet as the vehicle is still in transit
It might be a guarantee that your VIN might have a couple different digits in it maybe.I had to accept a new agreement this morning, and when logging into my account, I noticed it saying 2022 Model Y.

2022 Y VINs start with 7SA.I looked for the 5Yj, and the Encoded VIN and didn't find anything.. hmm...
Oh! Awesome, I got it from the source code with that and can confirm it's 2022 from using a decoder.2022 Y VINs start with 7SA.

Well that should make it interesting when trying to get insurance. I had enough trouble with the older 5YJ...As another said... the VIN prefix changed:
Digits 1 - 3: World Manufacturing Identifier
5YJ = Manufacturer: Tesla Inc., Vehicle Type: Passenger Car (Designated for Model S & Model 3)
7SA = Manufacturer: Tesla Inc., Vehicle Type: MPV (Designated for Model X & Model Y)
I just sent it over to my insurance; he could pull a quote easily.Well that should make it interesting when trying to get insurance. I had enough trouble with the older 5YJ...
Yea i hear you, i have been trying to shop for insurance and a few of them have not added 2022 Teslas or just model 3 but not Y. they apparently update their list every month and Tesla did not make the Dec cut. limits the options as the car is coming in 2 weeks.Well that should make it interesting when trying to get insurance. I had enough trouble with the older 5YJ...
I am from Toronto as well, who did you go with? they suggest Aviva at the dealership. i am waiting for my VIN ( Dec 11-25) to finalize but so far a few do not even have 2022 Teslas on their lists.I just sent it over to my insurance; he could pull a quote easily.
Perhaps they are set up better now than back in June 2020, when I had to get an agent on the phone to enter in mine. At the time they had no selection for MYP, just LR, so the letter for the perf motors was screwing it up.I just sent it over to my insurance; he could pull a quote easily.
My EDD recently updated to 12/2 - 12/13. I just looked in my account and saw there was the “vision agreement” for me to agree to, along with it showing as 2022. VIN wasn’t visible on main page but showed in source code and MVPA document.
I’m wondering if I can just not agree to it until later this month since, as many others, I was hoping to take delivery in the new year.
