Lambskin seat covers

I know I know, I have to watch out for the style police... But hey, I am no Mario Cipollini and have reached an age where I just don't give a damned anymore... ;-) Hence, hello comfy lambskin seat covers. Yes, of course I do have working seat heating - but the warmth with the lambskin is different, and more encompassing.

Since I just had my driver seat replaced by Tesla I figured this would be a good time to get the covers on. I had them custom-made (three hours for fitting, sewing and mounting) in Germany, for my 2014 AP1 standard-seats.

Of course, to go old skool all the way, you need an additional accessory:

Those are sweet. I would think Mr. Cipollini would have them in all his cars, and maybe his bicycle seat in retirement.

Doesn't this interfere with the side airbags in the front seats? You should look into this.

I asked about this. Apparently there is some sort of special 'weak' stitching in place where the air bag will deploy if needed.
