Leather Steering Wheel Stiches Starting to Fray

My S85 Model S is 14mo old, 15Kmi, and I just noticed two areas of the steering wheel where the threads that hold the leather together on the steering wheel are coming apart, especially on the left side.

Anyone else ever see this before? In only a year-old car?

Haven't had that happen yet after 2 years on my Model S, but it did happen on my first Audi (2000 S4) after a couple of years. I just snipped them with some scissors and that was that for the remaining 8 years I had that car.

Use a lighter and it will do the trick.
