location always on

Do you need to run the Tesla app on your phone with the location services set to "Always On"?
I'm running an iPhone 13 IOS 15 and I find no real difference between "Always On" or "While Using"

Is there a reason Tesla want the iPhone App to always have the location on?

I have mine set to While Using and it works fine. Tesla implies that the phone key will work better if location is set to Always, but it shouldn’t make a difference and hasn’t in my case.
