Look, a model S with an engine

Just started watching the following netflix movie "Christmas With A View" and at around 8:08 to 8:20 (1:22:58 to 1:22:51 time left) a Tesla Model S pulls up with an ICE noise. So hilarious that they feel they have to add engine noise to a Tesla.

Scenes like that usually have the sound edited in later and the tech was probably unfamiliar with Tesla.

Word of the day: Foley. I've read that pretty much everything you hear in a movie except voice was added later. I don't know if that's true.

Of course, real cars have fake engine noise, too.

The Netflix things was amusing. I wouldn't have noticed the sound.

I saw the same movie... at about 8 minutes left in the movie, as he starts to drive over the train tracks, the ICE sound is super noticeable. I was laughing my butt off.

Foley techs are also great at adding rubber/asphalt skid noises as cars arrive on dirt roads.

They were probally getting frustrated with how awkward it looked when they did it “normally” and removed the latch from the car side for the shot... that’s how it should close IMO though; it is crazy how non-user friendly the frunk is...

that's how tesla SHOULD have designed it instead of the stupid way it closes now.
