Loud Clank - Now Driving Weird

After a hard acceleration, I noticed a loud clank sound. After that, the car began driving in a strange way.

Now whenever transitioning between acceleration and brake regeneration, a buzzing sound occurs and the regen comes on in a very jerky fashion.

Similarly, when going from brake regeneration to acceleration, it does not come on in a smooth way, but rather abruptly.

Has anyone else have this problem? If so, how was it fixed?

The earliest they can get the car in for service is a month away. I’m worried about is it causing further damage by driving it.

Check that the lug nuts on your wheels are properly tightened. You will need to use a 21mm half inch socket and a wrench; If you have access to a torque wrench torque the lug nuts to 129 ft lbs.

I would think if it were loose or broken lug nuts you'd feel that in the steering wheel and vibrations/wobble/or other unnatural gyrations. Something is definitely broken in the suspension/drivetrain and I'd be very reluctant to drive it that way.

Which model do you own btw?

Fixing it is just replacing said axle, not difficult with proper tools.

‘21 MYP. I don’t have the tools or mechanical acumen to do it myself.

WOW. I'm curious how you was able to identify the axle to be broken? Hope it all works out for you. Please let me know what all was involved. I was thinking of the ghost upgrade.
