Loud Fan Noise When Charging at 64A

I see. Thanks, guys. All your points are taken. I will probably just limit the charging amp to 42 A until I need the high amp. Winter is coming, I may try high amp charge again in the winter months to see if that would instead keep the battery warm.
In terms of the charger, I have a feeling that I may have spent the $$$ on things I don't actually need.
Since you live in Canada and it sounds like you park outdoors, charging at full power in the winter will be helpful to you. Not only will the fans not come on in the winter (or probably the fall or spring either where you live) but it will heat your battery during the night, and if you time it right your battery will be warm when you leave in the morning so you won't have to waste energy heating it and you won't have power or regen limits due to a cold battery.
