anyone been assigned a vin for a LR RWD yet? Trying to determine whether the 2 week delivery estimates are to be trusted. Anyone get assigned a vin for a model other than LR RWD post the announcement?

2018 or 2019 model?I ordered a MR post announcement. VIN assigned and delivery today. Inventory car that my local showroom already had.
I just got my VIN for LR RWD it is 2018. Might decline it and wait for 2019.
I’m shocked that it’s a 2018. I thought Tesla had sold all of its inventory for LR RWD after discontinuing it up until now. I guess I’m guaranteed a 2019 vin because I ordered white interior and that option wasnt available when the LR RWD was first made available.I just got my VIN for LR RWD it is 2018. Why do you think it’ll be at least a month wait? Website shows 2 week estimate?Called Tesla and now I am waiting on 2019 VIN I am assuming it will be at least a month wait. The 2018 Vin was 0212xx, was not going to take something that was built around May 2018.
You know white became available late 2018, right?I’m shocked that it’s a 2018. I thought Tesla had sold all of its inventory for LR RWD after discontinuing it up until now. I have a friend who ordered a black ext with white interior early December and it delivered mid December *shrug*. It’s 2018. I don’t think “model year” has much significance but white interior was available in 2018.It was available as an “off-menu” item for about a week—the one week you could continue ordering the LR RWD even though the model had “officially” been discontinued. You had to jump through some hoops to get it. The white interior was never officially available for the LR RWD—meaning it was made to order and no inventory models exist.
White interior on RWD LR M3 : teslamotors
It wasn't a LR, it was a MR or a AWD version.I have a friend who ordered a black ext with white interior early December and it delivered mid December *shrug*. It’s 2018. I don’t think “model year” has much significance but white interior was available in 2018.
No, it’s a LR, lol. I do actually know the difference and gained a referral from it.It wasn't a LR, it was a MR or a AWD version.
They didn't make a Long Range in White Interior. There is a huge thread on it, and no one ever got one.No, it’s a LR, lol. I do actually know the difference and gained a referral from it.
*sigh* there’s at least one black LR with EAP and a white interior. You realize every Tesla owner isn’t on the forum, right? Don’t know what to tell you. They didn't make a Long Range in White Interior. There is a huge thread on it, and no one ever got one.

Yours has the update already, score. Here’s a new one. I ordered Model 3 online LR RWD yesterday at 11:00 AM Eastern time. 2 week delivery As I was building my car the specs said 325 range and 0 to 60 in 5 seconds. Six hours l get a VIN number which is a 2018. Delivery is tomorrow. Will my new car be th same as the current website says, or is this an OTA upgrade. or is the car locked at the old build specs.
Thanks for any thoughts.
