M3 no power steering ONLY when on the ground

I've bought a M3 2019 that went off-road and damaged a control arm on left front wheel (it was replaced). After the damage, the power steering worked just fine until one moment where it would cut off power steering at some angle of turning and showed the following code: "ui_a020" - no power steering. If i shut down the car and turn in on again, power steering will just work fine until i reach that angle of turning. We have put it on a lift and noticed that when the front wheels are in the air that there is no power steering cut and i can turn the steering wheel just fine. Does anyone have any ideia of what the problem could be? Thank you
