M3LR Climate Control Question

New to Tesla, just took delivery of a Model 3 LR and can't seem to figure out how to shut off the passenger side air vents when someone (read-wife) doesn't want them flowing at the same rate as myself. I see how it will shut off that side if there is no one in the seat and you just have it on }face level (not both }face and }feet) but once someone is in that seat it comes on both sides and there is no individual controls to shut off.
Any help would be appreciated!

Normal that you can't figure it out, you can't. You can have her set the direction of air flow, and you can have separate temperatures for each side. That's it.

Seems like something a little software adjustment could easily fix? I have already written Elon and expect a quick fix!

On 2021 and up, yes, a software fix could do it since it stops when there is no one sitting there . Prior to that, we don't have the hardware to close the ducts so software wouldn't do anything...

Any update on this? Looking to shut off airflow to the passenger side so my wife can be comfortable in the car. Seems strange that we cannot have this done in 2022…how do we request a revision to the software in this?

People have been complaining about this since the Model 3 came out. Obviously the issue isn't "squeaky" enough.

Sad. I mean cars from a decade ago have this feature…I’ll trade the fart noise for true dual climate
