I don't know the answer. But the sales tax is a registration fee. So I wouldn't panic yet. Still check it out. But, I think and hope you'll be OKHi, I am getting a M3 LR AWD which lists the total cash price (after sales tax) as $50,245. Would I still be eligible for the state rebate ? The rebate has been a big driver in me ordering the vehicle. I'd want too negotiate with the Dedham center if that is not the case and bring it under the 50k value - given that it is so close too that line.
Please advise. If i'd have to negotiate, any tips would also be greatly helpful. Thanks!
no they do notYes they factor destination which pushes the car to 50,290. Not sure what the regulatory fee is
Let me qualify that actually. Just spoke to someone not the phone at the mor-ev program for MA. They said it did not, they could be wrong. He also said that if the dealer will lower their price via negotiating (hilarious given the climate) to under 50K you can still qualify.no they do no
Tesla doesn't negotiate.. Are you getting FSD? If so, order it without... Then a week after you get it, add it on. That will get you below.Hi, I am getting a M3 LR AWD which lists the total cash price (after sales tax) as $50,245. Would I still be eligible for the state rebate ? Remember - you'll have the car for a while. Make sure you get the car you want first and foremost. Don't drop an feature/preference you will enjoy over the life of the car just to save $1kTesla doesn't negotiate.. Are you getting FSD? If so, order it without... Or, look at other options that you may have added and take them off. ie: White seats, or change external car color, or go to smaller wheels, etc.
Or order without the vaporware and don't waste the money next week on a long over-promised feature that likely won't see the light of day before you sell, trade, or wreck the car...Are you getting FSD? If so, order it without... Then a week after you get it, add it on.
Doesn't have to be a week, it can be five minutes. When I bought my car I went to Dedham to pick it up, I signed the paperwork, Tesla registered the car, I then pulled out my credit card and bought FSD. The important thing is the price on the registration form.Tesla doesn't negotiate.. Are you getting FSD? If so, order it without... Then a week after you get it, add it on. That will get you below.

Let us know if they give you the rebate. I ordered assuming we wouldn't get it, so would be a nice bonusJust submitted my M3 LR to the mor-ev program, with destination doc and order fee it goes right over 51k but sticker price was $49,990 so hopefully this slides through it's the most base LR you can buy...
Looking at the site it says,Let us know if they give you the rebate. I ordered assuming we wouldn't get it, so would be a nice bonus
Looking at the site it says,
" Costs not included in the purchase price are destination or delivery charges, sales and use taxes" So that would bring a base M3 LR to sub 50k
Yeah so I also ordered before it changed so I assume it's a go?The Model 3 AWD increased to 50990 a few weeks ago, so no longer eligible. (glad we ordered when we did, still waiting...)
