Max Battery Power - Why not heat the battery when charging?

As per the title really, would it not be a idea to be able to heat the battery while its charging to improve performance and range before you set off? A bit like heating the cabin before you leave.

During charging the battery heats up anyway. When charging really fast at a supercharger, the battery cooling kicks in.

When pre-heating the car via the app, the battery is also heated.

Earlier that depended on the range-mode toggle : if it was on, the battery wouldn't get heated (or just less heated?)
AFAIK, they have been some rumors of the battery heating on shore power with range-mode on was finally active, but I don't recall anyone confirming this.

What if you did this 15-30 minutes before approaching a SuperCharger when it's very cold outside? Would this greatly improve the charging speed?

While travelling, the battery is more or less kept at operating temperature. So, it already is warm when you approach a SuperCharger.
