There are plenty of dining options, including Aerie Restaurant Lounge. The J1772 chargers are in the parking lot and OpConnect. If you stay with them, then they will reserve the spot for you. This can provide a safe solution for overnight charge.

Camp Cadillac
This RV Park offers cabins and RV hookups. Cabins are little further from RV park, however if you request then owners will give you cabin which will be just across the RV park and will designate the closest parking space for charging. It is just minutes from boating, fishing, golfing, hiking/ORV trails and hunting.

I cruise through Milan about 6:50am every Tuesday and Thursday most every week. Wednesdays sometimes also. I drive to Lansing and back.
Saline Summerfest EV Show
Hi Folks,
Michigan Electric Auto Association (MEAA) organized EV show at Saline Summerfest on August 10. 2013. Tesla Owners (Dan Schereer, Ohaq, Aphysician) participated in the show. EV show also had Volt, Leaf, Ford Fusion and Lots of EV conversions. The show was a success and there was a steady stream of visitors. EV owners answer the usual questions about EV, and it was apparent that the interest in EV is certainly growing. Many people mentioned that they are considering an EV in a year's time.
Tesla Model S was popular, It definitely drew the crowd to the EV show. Almost everyone who came to the EV show spent few minutes admiring Tesla, with some hanging out with us for extended period of time and asking about the product/company in details. Many people had done extensive research about Tesla and were impressed to see the car in person. We distributed information and took contact details of people interested in Tesla. Please scroll below for pictures. This sets up the stage for strong showing at Woodward.
Black 85 (Dan) and White 60 (mine) at the show
Crowds admired Model S, while some were in complete disbelief that vehicle of such kind exists.
Hall Street in Saline was packed with EVs. Black 60 (ohaq) arriving at the show.

Dan made a display for the frunk, it answered all the common questions about Tesla. We also had our contact info with our facebook page and TMC page.
Dan had quite an audience all the time.
Trucks can be environmentally friendly as well. There were 3 electric pickup conversions.
Volts, Leafs, and Fusions. Thee EV show offered a bit of everything. Pure electric, Range extender and Plug-in Hybrids. There was great camaraderie among EV owners. We all explained the benefits of switching to electric.
Saline Street Machines Classic Car Show was the main event and had some really cool cars.

Has anyone heard about a Tesla Drive event this weekend? A coworker emailed me the information, but I can't find it on the web. I work in the adjacent building, so I may have to wander over and talk to the folks at the Westin hotel.
