I read a couple of posts where Model X owners tapped into the rear view mirror for power to work their radar detector. I tapped into the connector that powers the mirror on my 2020 Model X LR+. I verified that it was putting out 12 volts. But my Excort Max 360C would not power up. I verified it worked by swapping it out on one of my other cars. So perhaps this mirror circuit does not put out enough power to run the Escort. Has anyone else had this problem? I switched to make sure I had the correct polarity. Still nothing. I tapped into the black wire and the green wire. There is a third stripped wire but I did not get any voltage out of it. Hopefully it is something simple.
