Mirrors won't deploy

I have a 2022 Model Y. When I first set up Homelink, I had the mirrors collapse when it entered the garage. I quickly learned that the mirrors would not open when the car was put in reverse. A real pain having to do it manually each time. I decided to go into homelink and uncheck the box that caused the mirrors to fold. It made no difference, in that the mirrors still fold when entering garage and must be manually opened each time. Any suggestions?
