I think the lowball offer on trade-ins is because they're not wanting to deal with them because they're so busy with new vehicles. But yeah, as long as it's in good condition, I'd gladly buy a Model S for under $20k. I could give it to my wife to drive, and I can make due with my Leaf until I get my Model 3 in July.
