Model 3 badgings are out

not sure this is a known thing but haven’t seen it posted anywhere. While at the Seattle show room, I saw a Model 3 AWD with the “Dual Motor” badge on the back. I had asked if that’s custom and the guy there told me that they started to receive the badging a couple weeks ago and started to add them to customers cars as they bring them by.

I picked up my car in early November and it came with a dual motor badge from the factory.

They have been out for a few weeks now. Also, there are threads where service centers are telling people to come get them out on.

My personal theory for why we are seeing the AWD badge and not the Performance badge is because the spoiler isn't ready. Tesla doesn't want the Performance owners coming in for a badge then coming back a second time for the spoiler - so we wait for the spoiler

at the current rate of installation they will never issue said spoiler

honestly, I've seen Model 3's next to each other in a line, some with and some without the badges......normally I'm not that big on de-badging, but this car looks way cooler on the rear end without the extra badge.

Without spoiler? That's surprising, i was expecting them to wait on our badges until the spoiler was ready.

No spoilers or badges yet for Rocklin CA. Was told on delivery day last week, they were hoping for February 2019. I just want to pick them up, I really don't want them to install it.

I am still waiting for my Dual Motor Performance badge took the delivery back in september .. They keep saying every time at Dublin CA service center that they will send me an email .. Nothing so far
