Model 3 glass roof failing - do others have this issue ?

~6in crack on my P3D, from the trunk edge upwards. Burbank service center confirmed as a stress crack, currently waiting on replacement glass.

I am curious what did they do to consider yours is caused by stress? I am also a cracked glass-top owner.

I love the glass roof but this was one of my major concerns before I purchased. I wonder if the failure rate (if that’s even known) of our glass roofs is in line with other manufacturers?

Welp, finally got the Model 3 glass roof fixed/replaced after waiting 4+ weeks for the part. Cost a little over $1000 after tax.
However it now looks a little weird to me... did the roof always have wider gaps to the car’s metal side frames than the windshield & rear glass? Now I wish I saved more detailed photos from the original roof appearance. They used a rev D part number for the replacement... certainly it wasn't the wrong part for my early VIN?!?

So they pinned you to pay...why, due to caused by "outside influence" too? They charged you over $1000 in SJ and SC in Santa Clara mentioned that replacement will cost about $1300? Huh
