Do the Key cards work on both B Pillars or just the Drivers side?

I was under the impression it worked on both sides. Picked up my M3 yesterday and neither key is working on the passenger side. Spoke to two different people at Tesla, one of them told me that this is intended and it shouldn't work on the passenger side and one said to book a service appointment to get it fixed.

Only works on the drivers side mate - the checklist that’s doing the rounds is wrong

Only the driver's door, but do book it in anyway for the lols!

Of course I only use the app for convenience and carry the card in my wallet for emergencies.

The only downside with the app, is that I now conditioned to walk away from our old Golf, leaving its keys in the ignition...
