It seems a few leasing companies have bulk orders that they are offering around. I ordered a M3LR which is apparently somewhere in the ocean and due to dock in Southampton on the 25th Nov. I leased through Gorilla leasing, with apparent delivery first week of December but no exact date yet.
Just heard fro my lease co (Knowles Fleet Solutions who I don’t think are strictly speaking a lease co I think they are something like a broker??) with a delivery date of March 2022. Makes me wonder if it’s worth their while putting orders back until the new plate for future resale value?
There is never a promise from Tesla until you have a match and confirmed delivery date, anything before then is just an estimate. Lease companies may tell you all sorts of things but they have no control over Tesla's vehicle matching.
No there was never any promise from Knowles. I would think it’s hard for them to make any promises as the first couple of steps of the process rely on communication from my employer.
Does anyone who has previously ordered through Lex (mine is a company car) know how accurate the delivery timeframes are on their website? I have a delivery date of 27th November (confirmed by Tesla) and have been told I'll get a better estimate of the time the night before/first thing on the day, but my Lex account has now updated to say my delivery will be between 9am and 1pm, which is the ideal time as we are supposed to be going away in the afternoon. Just want to gauge how accurate this is.
Same here, ordered mine through Lex last month. Signed agreement but heard nothing. They said I'd here something in next couple of weeks from Tesla. Definite delivery in December, but I'm a bit dubious.

Chased with both company and Tesla. Nobody can tell me anything. The small bit of faith remains but it's fizzling!

I have just received my delivery Text confirmed for Dec 6th. Ordered through Gorilla leasing . lender Lex auto lease on the 27/10 with RN confirmed 03/11. Model 3 LR White.
Lucky!! My RN was two days after yours and I believe that’s potentially a cut off point… Is that delivered to your door too?
Yeah pretty happy TBH I wasn't expecting delivery this year . Delivery will be to my door
