I just figured it out!!!!! Your delivery time is directly related to the number of times you have refreshed the order page. It looks like this:
Deliver Date = Order Date + (number of times refreshing order page) ^ 2 * days


Joking around on here is the only thing that is stopping me from curling up in a ball in the corner of the room and balling my eyes out.

And with that calculation, I’m right out of luck

Ordered 5/18, and today had the date get pushed back 2-5 weeks as I'm sure many others did.

Everyone who got the trade in text, did you actually confirm if you would trade in or not earlier? Saw this post and it looks like if you don't complete everything completely, you won't be marked as complete and not be assigned a VIN.

I never had any trade-in setup and my profile has been complete since I ordered on April 6 and I still got this text message.

Curious, how many of you are going full wall charger vs adapter plus nema outlet vs regular outlet for your home charging? I bought a wall charger before realizing a 14-30 nema outlet (30 amp) and adapter would save me $1,000 and still allow for 22 miles per hour….

I’m going NEMA 14-50 and saving the $500.

I’m going NEMA 14-50 and saving the $500.

Picked mine up a week ago and already have almost one thousand miles on it - normally I'm working from home and not driving, but family is in town for a graduation, etc... One mistake I made is not already having a 240v ready, so I've been spending a lot of time at the Super Chargers.

I want to get a Tesla quote and/or use my own insurance so I have left this section alone. I was just wondering if it plays any role in delaying delivery.

I've left mine blank too. I've heard several times on Reddit that you only need this info at delivery and it doesn't impact your order.

I got my Tesla vision page and then Vin this morning. I hope the same is true for many on here! The page is also asking for full payment, but Edd has strangely changed to 9-13 weeks also…..it seems this is common at this stage from other posts.

I left mine blank. Ordered 5/15 and got the VIN 6/1. My delivery is set for 6/19 and a few days ago I started getting email reminders to upload my insurance. Once I did upload it yesterday, the payment portal opened up within 1-2 minutes. Hope this helps.
